Rangers Poker Club
Terms and Conditions
- By agreeing to join The Rangers Poker Club (The Club), members agree to pay a yearly membership fee of °Ã250. Poker tournaments will be held at least quarterly and members who enter each competition will be required to pay the tournaments entrance fee.
- Tournament formats may vary and each Tournaments Rules/Terms & Conditions will be announced at least 2 weeks prior to the Tournament commencement.
- Varying Formats include, Re-Buy games (where for a set period of time there is no limit to the amount of times the player is allowed to Re-Buy into the competition after losing some/all of their chips.), Limited Re-Buy Games (where for a set period of time there is a maximum amount of times a player is allowed to Re-Buy into the competition after losing some /all of their chips. E.g. only 1 Re-Buy allowed.), Freeze-Out games (in which players only receive the starting amount of chips and cannot Re-Buy into the competition). Double Freeze-Outs (In which players will start with half of the allocated amount of chips and can request the other half at any point of time).
- It should be noted that players are under no obligation to pay any more than the initial stake money. It is each player°Øs decision as to whether or not they would like to Re-Buy into the competition for the additional stake money.
- No Participation charge will be held by either the Casino or The Club, from the entry stakes or Re-Buys. All monies entered shall be given to the final winners of the competition.
- The prize pot will be split to allow for a higher value 1st prize and then further prizes down to a maximum 10th place. (Number of paid places will be announced in each individual Tournaments Terms & Conditions).
- By joining The Club members are under no obligation to play in every or indeed any tournament
- The Club retains the right to refuse membership
- Dress code for men will be business or lounge suits with ties optional. Equivalent dress code for women. No jeans, trainers or tracksuits will be permitted
- No foul or abusive language will be permitted
- No club member will be allowed entry if deemed to be under the influence of alcohol.
- The Casino staff retains the right to refuse entry to any club member under their standard rules and regulations.
Conditions Of Play
1. Each player shall be given 8,000 points at the start of play.
2. Entries shall be by invitation only and must be made in person by 7:00pm.
3. Play will commence at 7:15pm with 25 points small blind & 50 points
big blind.
4. A player may be permitted to RE-BUY into the competition only when
the value of chips remaining with them is 50% or less than the starting
amount.
5. Players are permitted only 1 Re-Buy OR Top-Up.
6. Players may Top-Up irrespective of the value of chips in front of them.
This must be done the hand after Re-Buys are finished.
7. Players must Re-Buy immediately after losing their chips to remain
in the game.
8. After 90 minutes of play, the Card Room Supervisor shall announce that
the last three hands of Re-Buys are to commence.
9. Once the Re-Buy period is over the Antes shall increase every 30 minutes.
(Subject to change at the Card Room Supervisors discretion)
10. If play continues until 3:00am the Card Room Supervisor shall announce
Last 30 minutes of play before the final three hands.
11. If, after the last three hands have been completed and there is still
no winner, then prized will be determined by the amount of points each
player has left.
12. By participating in the tournament, players consent to participate
in such reasonable publicity as Stanley Casinos Ltd/ Rangers Football
Club shall in its discretion decide, including press releases, events
reports, TV and press coverage and players further consent to having details
of their name and amount won if any to be included is such publicity.
13. In the event of any dispute the decision of the Card Room Supervisor
is FINAL.
14. By entering into the tournament, entrants are agreeing to be bound
by these terms and conditions.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to change or amend these Terms & Conditions as deemed necessary, without notice.
